Lent 2026: And Then What?

Lent is the Church’s season of reflection and growth as we journey toward the cross and the joy of Easter morning. This year, the “crosses” in our own lives — the difficult, chaotic, and desperate moments — may feel especially present. And yet, God promises something new. God promises an “and.”

In this devotional, we will reflect on our own spiritual biographies and consider the places where God has expanded our stories and revealed paths of new life.

More information, along with each week’s devotional pages, will be available on our website. You may also subscribe to our weekly email to receive the reflections throughout Lent.

Last Sunday's Sermon:

February 15th Sermon: A Transfiguration to Remember:

Transfiguration Sunday marks the end of Epiphany. Next week we begin our Lenten Journey with Jesus toward the Cross. It seems fitting that Jesus would leave the disciples a memory or reassurance as they begin this difficult road because we humans are indeed quick to forget. We have these vivid memories of God's presence too and if we let them, they can reassure us when all seems lost.

Please join us for our worship service on Sundays at 10:00 am.

We worship in the New Hope Presbyterian Church building, located at 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO.  This intentional partnership helps us focus on our mission and vision in the community. Recorded versions of all of our services and sermons are available on our YouTube channel, and on the Well of Hope Sermons Podcast.
