Lent 2026: And Then What?
Lent is the Church’s season of reflection and growth as we journey toward the cross and the joy of Easter morning. This year, the “crosses” in our own lives — the difficult, chaotic, and desperate moments — may feel especially present. And yet, God promises something new. God promises an “and.”
In this devotional, we will reflect on our own spiritual biographies and consider the places where God has expanded our stories and revealed paths of new life.

February 22nd Sermon: A Lent Together.
Lent is usually talked about as a season of struggle — a time to give things up, push through discomfort, and suffer a little so we can grow closer to God. But what if that’s not the whole picture? When we read the story of Jesus being tempted in the wilderness, it’s easy to imagine him as this lone hero — standing strong against the devil with sheer willpower and determination. But what if we’re missing something? What if the real temptation wasn’t just about bread or power or proving himself? What if the deeper temptation was believing he had to go through the wilderness alone? And what if that’s our temptation too?
